Industry Advisor – Chemicals, Energy and Natural Resources
Since 2017, Bill is the Vice Chair of the Centre for Gas and Liquids Monetization. Previously, reporting to the CEO, Bill was a past Senior Vice President of Solomon Associates, a world-wide operations engineering oil and gas cost benchmarking consulting group. His focus was to champion long term outlooks, primarily in North America. His experiences cover the fundamentals of the entire energy spectrum from production, transportation, and storage, through to end markets for several energy products, oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and electricity for a wide array of clients. Bill presented his professional energy opinions at over 100 industry conferences in 9 countries. Further, Bill has written numerous professional trade journal articles and is quoted, hundreds of times in media such as newsprint, journals, websites, television and radio as an energy authority. In addition to his BSc (Eng.) degree from the University of Calgary (1979), he holds a separate diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (1976).
