Industry Advisor – Transportation
William is a successful corporate officer who has over 30 years experience operating on global and regional platforms covering the US, Europe, Asia, and Canada. He has lead C-suite and front-line change management initiatives to build, upgrade and transform business development, program and project delivery, and operations policies, processes, practices, and systems. William also has extensive experience and track record in OT cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and transportation operations, and he has testified before Congress on transportation matters including Capital Programs, Rail Security and Emergency Preparedness.
William has held a number of leadership roles in the Transportation industry, including Chief Operating Officer at Amtrak, SVP Global Business Development – Critical Infrastructure at Parsons Corporation, and President & CEO, Regional Director – North America at SYSTRA.
William brings to Argo a passion for designing and delivering customer focused long-term solutions. He is a champion for Shareholder, Corporate and Executive Team global and regional aspirations, focused on creating and nurture cross-cultural alignment between global, regional, and local entities to deliver pragmatic and permanent solutions and results.
William graduated from Queen’s University with a Honors Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. He also earned a Master of Arts in Security Studies (Homeland Security and Defense) from the US Naval Postgraduate School, winning the Outstanding Thesis Award, and the Straub Award for Leadership during his studies.
