David has more than 26 years’ energy industry experience across a variety of global operational and functional leadership roles. Holding trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, David has a proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans, delivering excellent outcomes, and bringing teams with him on the journey. He leads all aspects of client engagements from negotiation to project closure for private and public companies while holding trusted client relationships at CEO & Executive Committee level.
Prior to joining ARGO-EFESO, David was President of ICR, a private equity backed technology business. There he reported to the group CEO and was responsible for the management and growth of ICR across the US, Canada, Latin America & the Caribbean. Before joining ICR, he enjoyed 12 years with global engineering leader, Wood. As VP of Growth & Development for the company’s Operations business unit, he successfully led the growth execution strategy for a $650M revenue business. In his time with Wood, he also held Group Technical Assurance Director and VP Gulf of Mexico Operations where he relocated to Lafayette, LA in 2015 before moving to Houston, TX in 2018.
Prior to joining Wood, David worked for bp and GE, in various leadership roles across the UK, Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia. He prides himself on being a skilled communicator, gained through experience of reporting directly into C-suite executives and developing collaborative relationships with internal and client stakeholders to problem solve, deliver shared success, and exceed expectations.

Education and Languages
David is an incorporated mechanical engineer, a member of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He holds a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Louisiana State University (LSU) and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Robert Gordons University (RGU).
Actively engaged with various industry and governmental representative bodies, David currently serves on the board of the Deepwater Operations advisory panel and is also a serving Global Scot for Scottish Development International (SDI).
