Tony is Senior Vice President, M&A and Restructuring. He is highly skilled in business governance, management, strategic planning, restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, capital formation and general business advisory services. He also provides coaching and mentoring to senior level executives. Most of his business experience was obtained in the global automotive supplier industry, serving as CFO of two public US automotive suppliers, and as CFO and EVP of a Belgium public company primarily invested in global automotive supplier companies.
Industry Experience
During his career, Tony Barone has been instrumental in securing over $1.2B of equity and over $2.5B in debt for companies with which he has been associated. He has raised debt and equity in Japan, Europe, and the United States either through public issuances or through private solicitations. He has led M&A activities on every continent except Africa and Australia, and has integrated over 20 acquisitions in the automotive supplier sector. He has experience in the Sarbanes-Oxley and the Japan J-SOX environments. He has basic understanding and experience with legal and regulatory environments in England, Germany, France, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, Japan, China, and the United States.

Tony earned a B.S. in accounting from West Virginia University in 1971. He is a CPA and spent the first 13 years of his career in public accounting in Northern Virginia, focusing on public companies, banks and taxation.
