W. Scott Timpson / Partner, Canada
Scott is responsible for strategic and client oversight for EFESO Management Consultants’
business in Canada and globally for the Transportation and Natural Resources sectors.
Additionally, he serves as Chairman of the Canadian Board of Advisors.
As a leader of enterprise-wide, comprehensive performance improvements, Scott
understands the critical importance of safety and recognizes that transformation will not be
sustainable without a strategic and tactical focus on leadership behaviors. His expertise
lies in driving performance improvements while ensuring that organizations align their
strategic direction with operational excellence, customer service, asset and cost
management, and a constant focus on safety.
As a trusted advisor to numerous CEOs of large multinational corporations, Scott
spearheaded one of the largest turnarounds in Canadian business history. His experience
in leading organizations through complex transformations has shaped his belief that
breaking inertia in organizations facing "transformation fatigue" requires alignment
between strategic goals and operational execution, supported by the right leadership
behaviors.
In today’s fast-paced business environment, Scott understands the necessity of staying
relevant. He has hosted numerous thought-leadership sessions attended by dozens of
Fortune 100 CEOs and executive leaders, emphasizing the need for companies to
continually evolve in response to changing market demands.
Scott holds degrees in business and psychology and has furthered his leadership
development through Executive Leadership Programs at Harvard Business School and
Schulich Business School. Additionally, he is a retired Reserve Military Officer.
