Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues have become increasingly relevant for the Chemical Process Industry as operators strive for a net-zero carbon future and to reduce waste.

In a recent survey of top chemical industry executives conducted by Chemical Week Magazine and EFESO Management Consultants, results showed that improving ESG in operations remains a work in progress for 49% of respondents, while 11% said they had no strategy. Only 39% of companies surveyed reported they already had a strategy in place.

Simply stated, the goal is to do more with less. A highly optimized network and footprint with effective work processes will enhance asset, resource, and logistics utilization, use substantially less carbon and water, and improve your bottom line.

On Tuesday, May 17th, EFESO and Chemical Week hosted a one-hour live panel discussion and Q&A session on how a best practice Environmental, Social, and Governance approach can help reduce carbon by up to 25% in three to five years with immediate savings beginning today.

EFESO Consulting SVP Chuck Deise and Dow SVP John Sampson served as panelists in the discussion, moderated by Chemical Week’s Editor-in-Chief Rob Westervelt.

Watch the replay below to learn how a best practice approach can help your operations reduce carbon by up to 25% in three to five years with immediate savings beginning today.
