Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues have become increasingly relevant for the Chemical Process Industry as operators strive for a net-zero carbon future and to reduce waste.
In a recent survey of top chemical industry executives conducted by Chemical Week Magazine and Argo Consulting, results showed that improving ESG in operations remains a work in progress for 49% of respondents, while 11% said they had no strategy. Only 39% of companies surveyed reported they already had a strategy in place.
Simply stated, the goal is to do more with less. A highly optimized network and footprint with effective work processes will enhance asset, resource, and logistics utilization, use substantially less carbon and water, and improve your bottom line.
