Alan Free / Senior Vice President and Sales Leader
Alan is Senior Vice President and Commercial Leader for EFESO Americas. Alan has over 35 years of industry experience, and is responsible for growing the Chemical and Energy industry practices. He helps clients accelerate growth through transformation programs that combine industry best practices with consulting expertise in a “player/coach” model. Alan’s deep experience in business transformation, post-merger integration, and operations improvement drives tangible results, enabling clients to achieve significant and sustainable reductions in COGS and SG&A, improve inventory productivity, and enhance service level metrics. His approach fosters long-term business relationships built on accountability, partnership, and shared success.
Before joining EFESO, Alan served as a trusted advisor to a variety of clients across multiple industries, including process manufacturing (downstream oil & gas, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals), discrete manufacturing (industrial products, automotive), retail and consumer goods, as well as wholesale distribution and logistics.
Alan holds a BS in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University’s Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
